You’ve just gone live with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. The implementation was probably not short: a lengthy data management pre-project was conducted, several integrations to legacy systems and vendor/customer portals were developed, the whole stack of modules within the ERP was implemented, and the Warehouse management module was configured and deployed to manage your high-throughput distribution center. Go-live was manageable as you had ramped up your staff and had a small army of consultants onsite to manage issues. Support is ramping down a few weeks into the hypercare phase, and issues are creeping up. Nothing major at first, but operational gaps are slowing down the ability to get product out the door as the weeks progress. It’s time to take action before customers are affected.

We’ve seen these scenarios before, and from that, we have developed the Warehousing Health Check: a comprehensive review of your D365 WMS module based on the latest features and industry best practices. We firmly believe D365 WMS can solve the majority of your warehouse requirements, so our offering is designed to be conducted for customers who aren’t satisfied with the efficacy of their logistics operations post-go-live. It’s intended to resolve outstanding issues and give peace of mind to stakeholders.

The Warehousing Health Check is a holistic review of your current situation, providing actionable insights for improvement. This engagement can typically be conducted within 3 weeks. It starts with a site visit by our team so we can get the most accurate view of how your facility operates (along with the people in it) as well as the WMS and how it’s been configured. After a deep-dive analysis of these two areas, we produce a health check report, outlining the following:

  • Current status;
  • Input on system installation and operational performance;
  • Quick wins;
  • Medium and long-term improvements, both operational and systematic;
  • General observations on the implementation and approach.

The goal is to enable your team to take back control of your implementation and provide you with the insights needed to make the necessary operational and/or system improvements to take the WMS to the next level.
