Back to the release learning center
The next version of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, 10.0.37, is scheduled for deployment in November 2023 (customers can take the update in October). As one might expect, it’s a relatively light release compared to what dropped in 10.0.36, but some good functionality is still being introduced. As of now, five new features are planned for the release, along with 42 bug fixes, most for the warehouse module (and a few for the transportation module). Nothing of note is being deprecated in this release. One particularly problematic bug was solved – issue 831187 – where work was not correctly closed if a Print step was present in the work unit and the last work position was canceled.

Automatically update documents when receiving purchase orders
You now can automatically push purchase order line transactions to a Received status, driven from receiving via the mobile device. Great functionality for anyone who wants to avoid manually updating purchase order lines and closing the load after the receiving operation, i.e., facilities where a dock office isn’t controlling the action of printing the documentation and confirming the loads before they go out the door.
Confirm serial numbers during picking
For years, it’s been possible to confirm several data points from the work line during the picking process: location, quantity, batch, license plate, and the product itself. The serial number could not be verified until this release, but now it will be possible to confirm it during the picking process.
Warehouse mobile devices workspace
The warehouse mobile devices workspace will be an excellent tool for IT staff and those looking after the devices' overall health and version control. In the past, it’s been relatively cumbersome to ensure all devices are up to date and validate which of your warehouse workers are correctly licensed (especially if you’re using temp staffing with shared devices and logins).
Work user session query range utility tool
It’s been possible for a few releases to query data in the mobile device using the detour functionality. The extension here will allow you to query more intelligently, using data points like the current warehouse the worker is operating in or the mobile device app user (the worker ID) as values in the queries that are being applied. It is beneficial when looking for specific records about what the user is doing.
